Protein: A Young Athlete's Best Friend

HEROFUEL-The Protein Bar for Kids
Consuming protein is essential for the proper growth and development of young athletes. Protein helps build the critical structures in our bodies, from our bones and blood to our muscles and organs.
So it only makes sense that kids, especially young athletes, should pay close attention to their protein intake to ensure proper growth and development.
Protein is most commonly found in foods such as meat, fish, poultry, eggs, nuts, seeds, and even some vegetables.
Unfortunately, for many kids getting enough protein from these sources is difficult. Each category listed above comes with its own potential setbacks for a young person. Some don't like red meat or fish, others have allergies to common nuts and seeds, and the struggle with vegetables is well-documented.
It is for these reasons that the core benefit of HEROFUEL is that it contains 10g of muscle-building protein. The high protein content in HEROFUEL is what sets it apart from any other bar designed for "kids". Most bars for kids consist mostly of cereals and oats, providing carbohydrates almost entirely. However, kids don't have problems getting carbohydrates in their diets! HEROFUEL is uniquely designed to deliver the right amount of protein to fuel your young athlete.
On top of this, the 10g of protein in HEROFUEL come from fast-digesting whey protein concentrate (derived from milk). Whey is a complete protein, meaning it contains all 13 of the essential amino acids (the building blocks of protein) that our body can't produce on its own.
Keep in mind, as described in this post, the recommended amount of protein for kids each day is 27 grams.
Regardless of if your athlete has tried HEROFUEL yet, we recommend you find a protein bar for your young athlete. There aren't many protein bars for kids on the market, so if you grab another bar off the shelves, just make sure in addition to having approximately 10g of protein (not more than 15g), the bar doesn't have too much sugar (greater than 10g) and uses safe and natural ingredients.
Use HEROFUEL as perfectly balanced fuel for your young athlete when they compete and they shouldn't have any issue with their protein intake!
