Most significant wins/accomplishments: Bantam State Champion and 101-6 career record. 


Tallen Pawlak is pure and powerful talent, and he brings such a great spirit to the HERO Quest! This kid is all about having fun through thick and thin, and always being a good sport. With that awesome attitude, we at HERO know that he is certainly on his way to becoming one of the greats. Lastly, Tallen is also great at setting goals for himself, even ones that are years in the future. That is what makes a good wrestler into a great, and we are sure Tallen is right on his way to being one of the greats. 

Why do you enjoy wrestling?

I enjoy wrestling because it is fun and I like the competition.


What's the most important thing wrestling has taught you?

The most important thing wrestling has taught me is to work hard and to never give up. 

What's the best advice your coach has given you? 

The best thing my coach has told me is to always walk on the mat believing I can win.   

How do you handle tough defeats? 

The way I handle tough defeat is to shake the other guys hand, think about what I could do differently for a few minutes and then move on.  


What’s your proudest achievement as a wrestler?

My proudest moment was winning the Bantam championships in Bolingbrook, IL.

What's your favorite wrestling move?

I have 2 favorite moves the 3/4 stack and the leg cradle. 

Do you have a hero/role model?

My role model is Cale Sanderson.


What's your favorite subject in school? 




Do you play any sports aside from wrestling?

I also play baseball and football.      

Do you have any other hobbies outside of wrestling? 

One of my hobbies outside of sports is mushroom hunting with my dad. 

What are your goals for your wrestling career?

My goals are to win 4 NCAA championships in college and the win a gold medal in the Olympic.

What are your goals for the next 1-5 years?

My personal goal for the next 1-5 years is to complete my gifted class at school with straight A's.

Where is your biggest area where you could improve?

The thing I need to improve is to not panic when I am down in points to keep a clear head and wrestle my match.
